ENG: Renacemos como hijos is a medley of traditional music from Latin America arranged by me for guitar, vocals, percussion and other instruments. It is dedicated to my friend Emilio Dias, a musician-curandero of the spiritual community Céu do Vale in Pindamonhangaba - SP Brasil.

The title means "Reborn as children”, i.e. "children of the Earth”, to return to and live in a time where life was a melody.

I heard these Icaros for the first time during a ritual, performed by Emilio with drum and voice, during a ritual. The sheer strength and balance they gave to the circle were truly awesome. It was impossible not to fall in love with the energy of these songs and make an arrangement for guitar.

ITA: Renacemos como hijos è un medley di musiche tradizionali provenienti dall'America Latina da me arrangiate per chitarra, voci, percussioni e altri strumenti.

Dedico questo pezzo all’amico Emilio Dias, musico-curandero della comunità Céu do Vale di Pindamonhangaba – SP Brasil.

Il titolo significa “Rinascere come figli” ossia come “figli della Terra” per tornare a vivere ad un tempo dove la vita era una melodia. 

Ascoltai per la prima volta questi Icaros, eseguiti da Emilio con tamburo e voce, durante un rituale. La forza e l’equilibrio energetico che donarono al cerchio furono davvero grandiosi. Impossibile non farsi prendere dall’energia di questi canti e farne un arrangiamento per chitarra.
